Pascal is an information market platform built on Solana. Users can create and/or participate in information markets on various topics (equity, economics, etc.) and risk their crypto on possible outcomes.

👽 Why is Pascal different?

Existing decentralized betting protocols (in a P2P or order book format) face liquidity issues. Additionally, with the majority of betting platforms running on Ethereum, transactions are slow and gas fees are high.

Pascal offers a few key advantages:

1. Faster and cheaper: Raydium leverages the efficiency of the Solana blockchain to achieve transactions magnitudes faster than Ethereum and gas fees which are a fraction of the cost.

2. Greater depth of liquidity: Pascal provides on-chain liquidity to markets using AMMs, meaning that users can deposit liquidity tokens and earn yield from Pascal prediction markets.
